mommy to two amazing little boys and a precious baby girl, doting wife of over 10 years & Jesus lover and my thoughts on life.
Bend was AMAZING… Coop had 2 games on Saturday, 2 on Sunday and 2 again on Monday and we had a blast as a family and with friends (new and old). Our team brought home the Bronze Trophy and we couldn’t be more proud or excited for our team! Everyone played so hard and worked their tails off and it was a joy to watch these kiddos and their teamwork! :)
I feel like I’m getting bigger… Oh wait! I am!
I am finally starting to feel uncomfortable and I had to bring a big fan and a HUGE body pillow on our trip to be comfortable. I have to admit that I missed our bed (and our dogs) terribly and I am happy to be home. I loved being there with my family but honestly, there is nothing like the comfort of home and your own bed. Thank goodness I brought my favorite pillows too… Sleeping comfortably is serious preggo business!
My back has been aching a LOT and my swelling has started to get bad. Praying that my blood pressure doesn’t start rising too fast as we need this girl to cook a little bit longer! ;)
I have been out of breathe more easily (and all the time) and have slowed down on the workouts quite a bit.
A few headaches have come on but nothing to terribly bad (praise Jesus!)
Last Tuesday when we got back from Bend I had to go into the dr because I have a UTI… No fun! I’m on antibiotics and it should be cleared up in the next day or two!
I have a dr appt this morning so I will find out more… :) I can FINALLY tell people when they ask that I’m having a baby NEXT MONTH… Pretty surreal it’s gone by very quickly!
Baby is now about 3.5 lbs and 17-18 inches!!! This is hard to believe because both of our boys were only 19.5 inches at birth!!!
We only have 7-8 weeks left to go… I know it will go by quickly and since I got high blood pressure with both of my boys I was induced and delivered at 37 & 38 weeks with them, and the same thing is likely to happen again (so I’ve read and per my dr)… Which of course I am fine with! Just means I get to meet our little precious peanut sooner!
Her room is pretty much all ready for her and I have washed all of her clothes and hung them! A couple last minute things left but nothing crucial… The big things are done!
My baby shower is on Saturday so I am excited for that time with my girlfriends and excited to get the last of what’s needed before baby girl arrives.
Another 4 weeks and I’ll be getting my hospital bag ready which is surreal… With my blood pressure and swelling I never know when the time will come so I want to be prepared! :)
Last Wednesday I went shopping with a girlfriend for fabric… She is graciously recovering our glider for us and I am so blessed and thankful for her! We had a blast and that is pretty much the last thing that needs to be done in the nursery… Besides maybe hanging a couple things on the walls. :)
Ok, headed to my dr appt and then the vet for the dogs vaccinations before the boys get home from school!!
Hope all of you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend (a week late)… ;)
Today we are headed to Bend, Oregon for a baseball tournament…
As you read this we are already on the road (and I’m already missing our dogs).
Our family LOVES road trips and we are excited to be a part of this trip and we’re looking forward to
the fun and memories we are about to experience.
I’m taking along the book
‘What Happens When Women Say Yes To God’
to ready and study while I’m there… especially on the long drive. ;)
I already started it last night and it’s going to be powerful!
My soul longs for more of Jesus and what He wants for me…
I’m excited to share stories and photos of the next 5 days…
Hope all of you have an amazing Memorial Day weekend!
I am hoping to update this weekend but not sure if I’ll have the time… :)
I had the most perfect Mother’s Day weekend!!
I spent it with my husband and boys and of course saw my parents and my Grandma.
Here is a recap of my weekend along with some pictures at the end. :)
Friday hubs and I bought the boys new golf clubs so after school my three boys went to the golf course for a little boy time…
We also went to Babies R Us and Coop picked out a precious little Lambie for Kenley. <3
Saturday we had a full day of baseball and then after Camden’s game the coach from the other team
planned a pizza party for everyone! It was wonderful and generous and the weather was amazing! :)
I couldn’t have asked for a more fun day and I feel truly blessed!
Sunday I woke up to my boys giving me tender kisses like little Prince Charmings
and they had each made some special Mother’s Day gifts at school for me to open.
It was so precious and I LOVED it so so much!
Being a mommy is the most rewarding and amazing job I’ll ever have!
We went to church and then went to my parents house to wish my Mom and Grandma a Happy Mother’s Day!
My sweet husband planned an amazing brunch for me in the afternoon at a gorgeous restaurant called
Paulee in Dundee… Wine Country. He knows me so well and the restaurant totally suited my and his taste to a T!! haha
I had a HUGE German Apple Pancake, the boys had the same
and Hubby had an amazing burger with an egg on it… His fries were to die for!!!!!!
We came home after so I could take a nap and I dreamt of apple pancakes the whole nap…
They were that GOOD!! :)
I can’t wait to go back there for a date night to try their dinner!!! Mmm mmm
On our way home Camden fell asleep and that to me, was the sweetest! ;)
Hope all of you Moms had an amazing day celebrating with your loved ones
and I hope each of you felt very special and loved!
This past weekend we took the boys to the Oregon Ducks Baseball game in Eugene…
They sweeped Stanford in the series and we had a blast together.
The boys are always so good on road trips…
We had amazing seats and they cheered on their favorite players, they ran the bases after the game and
before heading home we went to our favorite Mexican Restaurant and had dinner.
Here are a few pictures I took that day! :)
Last week we went to the coast on yet another adventure and had the most amazing time!
We took the boys to the Tillamook Factory and it was so neat to watch them make cheese, butter and ice cream.
We sampled a bunch of yummy cheeses and of course got ice cream. :)
There was a hole in the wall Fish N Chips shack across the street so we ran over and had an incredibly yummy and FRESH lunch!!
We also stumbled across an very beautiful park that will be going back to again soon… It was so much fun…
Now for some pictures! :)
Last week we had a little afternoon adventure and we took the kiddos to McMenamins Edgefield for some lunch and exploring.
We walked around the beautiful grounds, had a yummy lunch and watched some pros perfect their craft at hand blown glass…
It was incredible to say the least! Here are some pictures of our adventure! :)
Last Sunday we took the boys, along with some friends and headed down to Eugene for the U of O Duck Baseball game and it was sooooo much fun! The boys all enjoyed hanging out with each other, receiving high fives and nice words from the players, etc, the hubbys enjoyed each others company while watching the game and I, of course LOVED hanging out with Erin and having a little girl talk while we watched the Ducks beat Arizona 7-6!! It was a super relaxing day and both of my boys fell asleep on the way home! :) When we got home we had dinner, the boys went outside and played for a bit and were both in bed at 7pm (on their own) and asleep by 7:15pm. It was precious!!! Hubs and I enjoyed a ‘Date Night At Home’ and snuggled on the couch and watched Zero Dark Thirty. Such an amazing day!
Here are a few pictures that captured our day! :) The collages were made by Jeremy (my gf’s hubby).
Happy Saturday, friends!!!
Yesterday was an amazing day at the coast and I can’t wait to post pictures this next week! Today is a day full of baseball and celebrating our good friends sons 1st birthday followed by a BBQ and early to bed! Excited for Easter tomorrow! God is so good! :)
I haven’t updated with pictures in a while so I figure I better add some dating all the way back to Halloween which seems like forever ago. Hope you all are well! :)
It’s been an extremely busy couple of weeks and so to be quick this morning I wanted to share a couple of pictures from the past week… Hope you all have a blessed day!!
I saw Kari Jobe live at Women Of Faith this year and can I just tell you… She is phenomenal… One of my favorites! She has a heart for Jesus and it radiates through her. This was one of my favorite songs that she sang… The lyrics spoke right to my heart. This is truly […]
I have listened to this song a ton lately and just love it… It really just reminds me that in good times, turn to Him and praise Him, In hard/bad/unsure times, turn to Him and praise Him… I always wanna be at my Saviors feet and in His holy presence. He is my Rock and […]
At Missional Community a couple of weeks ago, Ashley made a corn casserole that is to die for… I love corn and it looked amazing but I was unsure I would like it (I’m cray). Well, after one bite I was hooked and think it is absolutely delicious! I asked her for the recipe and […]
So, as you know I’ve been on a little blog hiatus since baby girl was born… I have enjoyed the last three months of pouring into our newborn and also into my boys and husband! This is an amazing and blessed season in my life and I’m savoring every moment! Thank you for all of […]
