I’ll make this short and sweet because it’s been a fun but long day and I am getting our Christmas cards ready to send out and I’m decorating for Christmas!!!! Our sweet 7 year old just lost his first tooth and all of us couldn’t be more excited! Here is my proud and hopeful little guy… ready and excited for the tooth fairy to come!

We are so excited for Thanksgiving and have so much to be thankful for this year (and every year)… We have a roof over our heads and our health, an amazing church and a wonderful and supportive group of friends, sweet little boys who love Jesus! I am counting my blessings and my cup overflows… What more could we ask for really!?! Looking forward to the long weekend and spending time as a family! The boys are needing things to keep busy busy since being out of school and making turkey shirts was all I could come up with today! LOL Here are the pictures…
Pretty sure my seemingly silly idea was a fabulous idea to the boys! They both were smiling and loved every second of getting paint on their hands! They did not want the fun to end! :) Hope everyone of you had a wonderful turkey day as well and I hope you got to dwell on all the Lord has blessed you with!
First I want to start off by saying that I’m reading Linda Dillow’s Calm My Anxious Heart (YES, AGAIN)… Last year she was the guest speaker at our women’s retreat and I can’t even tell you how amazing she is and how much this women oozes Jesus Christ! I’m reading this book for the 4th time and I get something new from it ever single time! I’m reading it again because of all of the stress I’ve been feeling about our move… We’ve been in our new place for almost a month but with unpacking and the pursuit of being a mommy and keeping up with the kids and their needs, schedules and demands has been a bit stressful and wearing on me. Being a mommy is one of the hardest jobs on earth because it’s a 24 hour job and your little ones need you every minute! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore my boys and I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with them but it’s so important to take time out to pray, be quiet and spend time in the Word! We as women worry alot… at least I do and this is such a great read for me because it reminds me that we need to exchange our apprehension for godly gratification! I want my life to mimic Jesus and portray my faith in God ! You can read up or purchase this wonderful book here!
Another book I highly recommend and read yearly is The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian. An absolute must read for any wife or bride! :) It’s super encouraging and will bring you closer to your spouse! You can find this brilliant book here.
Cooper had a blast at his birthday party and his cupcakes turned out cute although you can’t really tell from the photos…

The past couple of weeks I’ve been able to meet a few of my closest friends for coffee and sweet fellowship and I feel so blessed to have such godly women in my life! :) I just have to share this awesome photo with you! Doesn’t it just look so delicious? Mmmm
Lastly, we finally have our guest room in the new place up and ready for company so feel free to come and use it… We’d love to have visitors and as you all know I love to cook and entertain and our door is always open! :) Here’s where you’ll be staying!
Exhausted and heading to bed! Hoping to start posting again regularly but we’re getting into the busy part of the year for us so we’ll see! But I can officially say Happy Holidays! Almost Thanksgiving and then Christmas and New Years will be here before you know it! WooHoo
Happy, happy birthday to my precious 7 year old who is the most amazing and sweet little boy! Cooper, I couldn’t be more proud or more blessed to have you as my son! You have taught me so much about life, love and compassion! I’ve never known another child your age who is so in love with Jesus and so eager to share the Word and watching you worship… son, there is nothing that brings me such joy! I am sooooo enjoying watching you grow and succeed and prosper! You are my shining star, an absolute gift from God! I love you soooo much! :)
We went to sushi for dinner and Camden was proud to rock his Ducks jersey! LOL
Then we came home and Cooper blew out his candles and we enjoyed his cake as a family…
And the birthday boy is tucked in and fast asleep holding onto his teddy bear ‘Valentino!’
