Last night I got home from an amazing weekend in the Seattle area after attending the Fashion Focus Hair Show!  It was a blast and I met some great people and learned a ton of new stuff…  And all of the free hair products didn’t hurt either… along with some other fun items that I scored!  :)

I wish I could tell you everything I saw and learned but that would take me a week…  So instead I will show you with pictures and maybe a video of a little fashion show or two.  You may recognize some of the amazing celeb stylists who were there and let me be the first to tell you how awesome it was to watch them work first hand right in front of my big blue eyes!  I was inspired by all of the vibrant colors I saw and the new cutting edge hairstyles that I’ll probably never get a chance to duplicate unless someday on a runway…  Lol But it was amazing none the less!

On my way home I began to recap the weekend and what an incredible opportunity and experience it all was and I felt so utterly blessed  but my heart began to ache for the ONLY thing that can truly captivate my soul which is Jesus…  It is He who I live for and He who I want so badly to impress.  I want to work for His glory and perfect this art to honor Him.  All else fades but He remains.   I find it can be easy to get caught up in ‘things’ but our focus should remain on what is eternal!  I want to live this life to honor and glorify the Lord, however that may be!  Work diligently, my friends, perfecting your craft for the glory of God!

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.  Colossians 3:23
