Road Trip… Baseball Tournament

Today we are headed to Bend, Oregon for a baseball tournament…
As you read this we are already on the road (and I’m already missing our dogs).
Our family LOVES road trips and we are excited to be a part of this trip and we’re looking forward to
the fun and memories we are about to experience.

I’m taking along the book
‘What Happens When Women Say Yes To God’
to ready and study while I’m there… especially on the long drive. ;)
I already started it last night and it’s going to be powerful!
My soul longs for more of Jesus and what He wants for me…

I’m excited to share stories and photos of the next 5 days…

My Mother’s Day Weekend

I had the most perfect Mother’s Day weekend!!
I spent it with my husband and boys and of course saw my parents and my Grandma.

Here is a recap of my weekend along with some pictures at the end. :)

Friday hubs and I bought the boys new golf clubs so after school my three boys went to the golf course for a little boy time…
We also went to Babies R Us and Coop picked out a precious little Lambie for Kenley. <3

Saturday we had a full day of baseball and then after Camden’s game the coach from the other team
planned a pizza party for everyone! It was wonderful and generous and the weather was amazing! :)
I couldn’t have asked for a more fun day and I feel truly blessed!

Sunday I woke up to my boys giving me tender kisses like little Prince Charmings
and they had each made some special Mother’s Day gifts at school for me to open.
It was so precious and I LOVED it so so much!
Being a mommy is the most rewarding and amazing job I’ll ever have!
We went to church and then went to my parents house to wish my Mom and Grandma a Happy Mother’s Day!
My sweet husband planned an amazing brunch for me in the afternoon at a gorgeous restaurant called
Paulee in Dundee… Wine Country. He knows me so well and the restaurant totally suited my and his taste to a T!! haha
I had a HUGE German Apple Pancake, the boys had the same
and Hubby had an amazing burger with an egg on it… His fries were to die for!!!!!!
We came home after so I could take a nap and I dreamt of apple pancakes the whole nap…
They were that GOOD!! :)
I can’t wait to go back there for a date night to try their dinner!!! Mmm mmm
On our way home Camden fell asleep and that to me, was the sweetest! ;)

and I hope each of you felt very special and loved!

Family Time

This past weekend we took the boys to the Oregon Ducks Baseball game in Eugene…
They sweeped Stanford in the series and we had a blast together.
The boys are always so good on road trips…
We had amazing seats and they cheered on their favorite players, they ran the bases after the game and
before heading home we went to our favorite Mexican Restaurant and had dinner.

Oregon Coast

Last week we went to the coast on yet another adventure and had the most amazing time!
We took the boys to the Tillamook Factory and it was so neat to watch them make cheese, butter and ice cream.
We sampled a bunch of yummy cheeses and of course got ice cream. :)
There was a hole in the wall Fish N Chips shack across the street so we ran over and had an incredibly yummy and FRESH lunch!!
We also stumbled across an very beautiful park that will be going back to again soon… It was so much fun…

Edgefield

Last week we had a little afternoon adventure and we took the kiddos to McMenamins Edgefield for some lunch and exploring.
We walked around the beautiful grounds, had a yummy lunch and watched some pros perfect their craft at hand blown glass…

Duck Baseball

Last Sunday we took the boys, along with some friends and headed down to Eugene for the U of O Duck Baseball game and it was sooooo much fun! The boys all enjoyed hanging out with each other, receiving high fives and nice words from the players, etc, the hubbys enjoyed each others company while watching the game and I, of course LOVED hanging out with Erin and having a little girl talk while we watched the Ducks beat Arizona 7-6!! It was a super relaxing day and both of my boys fell asleep on the way home! :) When we got home we had dinner, the boys went outside and played for a bit and were both in bed at 7pm (on their own) and asleep by 7:15pm. It was precious!!! Hubs and I enjoyed a ‘Date Night At Home’ and snuggled on the couch and watched Zero Dark Thirty. Such an amazing day!

Yesterday was an amazing day at the coast and I can’t wait to post pictures this next week! Today is a day full of baseball and celebrating our good friends sons 1st birthday followed by a BBQ and early to bed! Excited for Easter tomorrow! God is so good! :)

Ducks Game~ Our Crazy Fun Weekend

We went down to Eugene to the Ducks football game on Saturday against Tennessee Tech and crushed them 63-14 but had an absolute blast none the less! Boys were in ‘Duck’ heaven and the weather could not have been more perfect! Home Sweet Home

Oh my goodness it is so amazing to be home… Although vacation was amazing, and that is our home away from home, it is amazing to be HOME!!!!!!! The kids are excited to go back to school and I am looking forward to having a real ‘routine’ back… I am totally schedule oriented (I know I say this everyday) and go a little cray when things aren’t completely planned and in order. :) There is just so much to do in the next few weeks and I will fill you in on all of that very soon! ;) I’m winding down… We grabbed some delicious Indian food for dinner, boys are in bed and I’ve got laundry going and I’m thumbing through the mail. :)

Goodnight, friends, it’s been a VERY long day and I’m just about ready for bed!! Sweet dreams. xo
